Our goal is to achieve efficient outcomes that truly transform your patients’ lives.

What Is Our Collaborative Care Model?

Allied BHI’s Collaborative Care Model (CoCM) is reshaping how behavioral health is integrated into healthcare. With a mission to increase patient access to mental health services and enhance efficiency in behavioral healthcare, we aim to form alliances with medical practices and care organizations to provide comprehensive healthcare. The model consists of five major players: the Billing Provider, Patient, Behavioral Health Specialist, Psychiatric Consultant and our proprietary Registry Software. By working closely together, they create and implement a care plan guided by measurements and evidence-based practices. This approach leads to better patient outcomes and cost reduction and combats the stigma surrounding mental health. Together, we are transforming the healthcare landscape for holistic patient care.

FAQs About Behavioral Health Integration

At Allied BHI, we help you make much-needed mental healthcare available to your patients. Check out some commonly asked questions about behavioral health integration below.

Behavioral health integration refers to the process of combining physical and mental healthcare services in a single healthcare setting. It aims to provide comprehensive care by addressing both the physical and mental health needs of individuals in a coordinated manner.

Behavioral health integration is crucial because it acknowledges the interplay between physical and mental health. By integrating these services, individuals can receive holistic care that addresses their overall well-being, leading to improved patient outcomes, increased accessibility to mental healthcare and a reduction in the stigma associated with seeking mental health support.

Behavioral health integration benefits individuals of all ages and backgrounds. It is especially beneficial for those with chronic illnesses, complex health conditions or co-occurring physical and mental health disorders. It also helps address the mental health needs of patients who may not actively seek specialized mental healthcare services.

Individuals can access behavioral health integration services through primary care providers or healthcare organizations that offer integrated care. They can inquire about the availability of integrated services directly with their healthcare providers or request referrals to integrated care settings.

Insurance coverage for behavioral health integration services differs depending on the insurance provider and plan. However, many insurance plans do offer coverage for integrated care services, which include mental health services provided within a primary care setting. To obtain coverage details, it is recommended to consult directly with the insurance provider.
